Gemini Crewing LLP was established on 5th September 2026 and is part of the Gemini Group. Our role is focused on the recruitment, placement and deployment of seafarers onboard merchant vessels managed by Gemini Ship Management.

We work to ensure that personnel deployed to our vessels are appropriately trained, qualified, certified and medically fit, while maintaining the required statutory, regulatory and contractual standards.

Coordinating crew placement and deployment onboard our managed merchant vessels in line with vessel and contractual requirements.

Supporting verification and maintenance of relevant qualifications, certificates, medical fitness and statutory documentation.

Crew Administration

Maintaining appropriate records and coordinating shore-side processes connected with crew deployment.

Seafarer Welfare

Giving due attention to seafarer rights, welfare, privacy, confidentiality and fair recruitment practices.

Repatriation Support

Providing appropriate support for repatriation of stranded seafarers and handling of mortal remains as permitted by applicable regulations.

Recruitment & Placement Policy

Recruit suitably trained, qualified, properly certified and medically fit seafarers onboard vessels.

Ensure that no fee or other recruitment or employment charges are borne directly or indirectly by the seafarer, except permitted statutory costs.

Respect seafarer privacy and protect confidentiality in the collection, storage, processing and communication of personal data.

Ensure that no means, mechanism or list is used with the intention of preventing or deterring a seafarer from gaining employment.

Ensure personal-data activities are supervised by adequately trained shore staff with relevant maritime knowledge.

Ensure seafarers are informed of their rights and duties under the contract of employment or agreement prior to placement.

Ensure ships on which seafarers are recruited and placed are covered by Protection and Indemnity Insurance.

Provide appropriate repatriation support for stranded seafarers and arrangements concerning mortal remains, where permissible under local regulations.
